About the Breeder
Mark Adam has been a falconer for over forty years and a falcon breeder for more than thirty. He has committed his life to working with birds of prey, developing a depth of experience grounded in both practical falconry and selective breeding.
Early in his career, Mark bred peregrine falcons for reintroduction to the wild while working with the McGill University Raptor Centre. This work reinforced his commitment to conservation, careful breeding, and the responsible management of raptors.
He later founded Falcon Environmental Services and served as its president for twenty-five years. Through this work, he further expanded his understanding of raptor behaviour, training, and performance across a wide range of environments.
Today, Mark applies this accumulated knowledge to breeding falcons specifically for falconry. He has flown and hunted most of the falcons within his breeding program and can personally attest to their temperament, intelligence, and abilities in the field.
Young falcons produced at Glengarry Falcons have been placed with discerning falconers around the world. This international reach reflects both the quality of the birds and the experience behind the program.

At Glengarry Falcons, care and development are fundamental to producing well-balanced falcons. From an early stage, each bird is monitored closely to ensure healthy growth, confidence, and natural curiosity. Our approach emphasizes a calm environment and consistent routines that support stability during development.
Young falcons are raised with individual attention, allowing us to observe temperament and encourage adaptability. Exposure to appropriate surroundings is introduced gradually, helping each bird develop composure and awareness without unnecessary stress. This measured approach supports strong behavioural foundations valued by experienced falconers.
Nutrition and condition are carefully managed to promote steady growth and overall well-being. Regular observation allows adjustments to be made as each falcon develops, ensuring that individual needs are addressed throughout the early stages.

We prioritize quality over quantity. By maintaining a limited number of breeding pairs, we are able to give close attention to each bird throughout the breeding and development process. This approach allows us to monitor growth, behaviour, and early disposition, ensuring that each falcon develops with stability and confidence.

Individual care is provided during early development, helping each bird mature with the temperament and composure valued by experienced falconers. The breeding pens offer the falcons ample room to fly, with multiple perches.
Health and condition are fundamental to our program. Birds are carefully observed and managed to promote strong development and long-term suitability for falconry. The breeding pens have an open-roof concept to allow plenty of fresh-air ventilation.
